A very British sport

Cricket is a very popular sport in Great Britain. It can be played in a team or just with your friends in the park.

You need a cricket bat ... a ball ... some stumps  ... and some protection for your legs and head !

 Cricket players usually wear white clothes.

A team is 11 players. Two players bat together. You must hit the ball and run fast to the opposite end ... and back again if you can.

  You are out (= eliminated) if the ball hits the stumps ...

or if the opposing team catches the ball.
